We're Hiring! Business Development Manager - SEO, Google Ads, Sydney

Marketix is a fast growing Digital Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation Agency based in Sydney.


Specialising in SEO and Google Ads services, we work with Small, Mid-Market, Enterprise businesses and Government (we’re an approved supplier to the NSW Government).


We work with a range of industries from Construction, Professional Services, IT Services, eCommerce, Health, Education and Government. 


We are looking for an experienced and “gun” sales expert to build our customer base and provide an outstanding customer experience for all of our clients.


About the role


This is an outbound phone-based role where you will be prospecting for New Business + Managing key customer account. 


Experience in high-volume cold calling over the phone, virtually, or face-to-face will be highly regarded. 


Knowledge about SEO + Google Ads + Digital Marketing is important and training will also be provided.


About you


Proven experience in a similar role within the Digital Marketing industry

An understanding of SEO, Google Ads and Digital Marketing technologies

Experience in a similar fast-paced sales environment preferred (2+ years experience)

Willing to go above and beyond to achieve success

Able to think on your feet and outside of the box to deliver solutions

Willing to go outside of your comfort zone to get the job done well

Driven by a desire to makes lots of $$$ whilst caring about your clients

Goal focused with a competitive edge

Resilient to the core, able to recover from the knockbacks.

Core Skills


B2B sales, new business development and cold-calling experience (2+ years)

The role is 80% lead generating new business development and 20% account management

A well-crafted sales process/methodology & proven track record of success

Outstanding communication, influencing, and negotiation skills

CRM experience (e.g. Hubspot, Salesforce, or similar)

Digital marketing knowledge and experience (e.g. SEM, PPC, SEO, Display, Social etc.)


What you will receive:


Monthly Pay including Commission + Bonuses (OTE $150k+ yes, you read that correctly!)

Salary + Uncapped Commission + Quarterly & Annual Bonuses + Super

Business Hours Monday to Friday

Flexible Hours Available for Consistent Performance

Be part of an experienced corporate executive team with scope for promotion to Sales Manager/Sales Director within a couple of years
